  2. Superficial Closure of Penis=Simple Repair from the base 5cm:
    12002[Simple repair of superficial wounds of scalp, neck, axillae, external genitalia, trunk and/or extremities (including hands and feet); 2.6 cm to 7.5 cm ]
    *
    Complex Closure of Testicle of for 5 cm :
    Complex Repair: 13132[Repair, complex, forehead, cheeks, chin, mouth, neck, axillae, genitalia, hands and/or feet; 2.6 cm to 7.5 cm],

    If you have placed the drains only or placement of drain after an Incision and Drainage?
    *
    Placement of Drains "Only": If you need to place a drain or pack to allow for continuous drainage, the procedure would be considered complex. Since you have performed a complex closure, the placement of drain is part of it.

    For "placement of drain after an Incision and Drainage", the drain placement is included in Incision and Drainage. So, only I&D is to be coded.
    *
    There is no specific code for "placement of Drain". If I&D performed, then placement of drainage is included in I&D.
    In this case the code would not be 10060 or 10061 as normally we use, becasue we have anatomy specific code available in this case, i.e;

    54700: Incision and drainage of epididymis, testis and/or scrotal space (eg, abscess or hematoma).
