   Can I bill paracentesis after Cat/Gluacoma surgery for elevated pressure? If so, do I need a modifier??

   Paracentesis codes (CPT codes 65800, 65805, 65815)seems to be safe and effective in controlling the intraocular pressure and eliminating symptoms in Cataract/Glaucoma.

   Since the procedure performed in paracentesis is related to control the complication out of cataract, so we can use modifier 78 to the CPT codes 65800, 65805, 65815
