  1. Pt came in for her normal OB visit (part of the global charge) She needed a Tigan injection so the nurse gave her the injection. When we bill for the tigan can we also bill for the 99211 for the nurse giving the injection?

  2. As long as no face to face with physician, injection given by nurse can be billed with 99211 along with injection code.

  3. It can be billed "96372" and injection code.

  4. You are right Rehana, but for Michelle's query whether 99211 can be billed or not as some payors prefer billing 99211 along with injection code.
