   Want to verify that I'm using the correct code for histohemistry on a muscle biopsy for the following stains: NADH, Cytochrome C-oxidase, ATPase, nonspecific esterase, acid phosphatase & myophosphorylase. I'm coding 88319 x8 stains. I don't do much of this coding so I just want to be sure. Thanks for your input.

   Going by description of the procedure the CPT 88319 billed in the context is correct.
   The MUE for 88319 is NONE. So, 8 units is acceptable.
