   Patient has esophageal cancer and previously had a stent placement.

   Patient was seen a couple days ago due to 'Migrated Stent'...

   Anyone ever find an appropriate diag code for this?

   The meaning of "migrated stent" is actually that the stent is displaced currently. This is a mechanical complication of the stent, and you can code 996.59 (Mechanical complication Due to other implant and internal device, not elsewhere classified) for this.
