  1. 41. An office consultation is performed for a post-menopausal woman who is complaining of spotting in the past 6 months with right lower quadrant tenderness. A detailed history and physical were performed with a low-complexity medical decision

  2. Assuming that this is a non-medicare patient based on which we can bill CONSULTATION code, then we should bill 99242. If the patient is medicare, and if the patient is new, then we will code 99202, but if the patient is established we should code 99213.
