  1. We currently perform digital diagnostic mammograms with computer aided detection (CAD) so we can bill for CPT codes 77051 in addition to the mammogram. We have recently heard that Medicare states CAD cannot be billed if you only do magnification or spot views and not routine views. Is this true? If we are only doing magnification and spot views can we not bill 77051? Any feedback would be great, thanks!
