   I'm hoping someone can help me with a simple question. Is a capsulorrhexis a normal part of a cataract procedure, 66984 ? Or should we code 66982 for a complex cataract extraction ???

   Yes, capsulorrhexis is part of the procedure for the CPT code 66984. Where else Cpt 66982 is used in case if the procedure is extensive or complex.
