  1. one of my surgeons states he is injecting two seperate joints of the same wrist at the same encounter, can the code be billed twice?

  2. Going by options available, you can bill twice 20605 as the MUE is "None", the modifier indicator for 51 and 59 also supports.

    But, there is very good chance of getting denial as being same wrist. Both can be reimbursed if the medical necessity of each is different.
