  1. I was told that CPT 95938 can be billed with two units. Once for the set-up/baseline reading and once for the actual procedure. I can not find anything to support that it is ok to bill two units for this code.

    Please advise.

  2. CPT 95938 can be billed only once as per MUE table 2012 assigned by MEDICARE. Medicare has assigned only one unit for CPT 95938. MUE is the maximum units of service that a provider would report under most circumstances for a single beneficiary on a single date of service.
