   Can these 2 codes be billed and paid separately. A lot of our insurance companies are saying no that they are inclusive. If they can be billed and paid separately then can you show me where I can get some supported info so that I can appeal these denials. Thank you

   The description of the codes give some hint of inclusiveness, based on which there is probability of denials. But, by CCI edits, there is no bundling issue.

   Have you tried with 59 mod.to 31002?

   So, such type of code combinations can only be refiled with "Letter of Appeal".
