  1. Does the physical therapy procedure code L0621 for Pelvic Support work to get reimbursement from a private insurer (BC/BS) for "core shorts"? Core shorts act as a brace but are flexible enough to be used for exercising. Patient has a poorly repaired inguinal hernia and poor posture which causes so much hip pain when exercising, he must stop. But he must exercise to lose weight. Core shorts, with a PT regimen, alleviate the pain and permit hours of exercise. Has anyone received reimbursement for core shorts under this procedure code, or is there another that works?
