  1. What is the correct coding for PFT's. My Pulmonary clinic is coding 94010. I think that this is for spirometry only.

  2. Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) can measure the patient’s lung volumes, airflow, compliance, gas transfer, and other physiologic parameters. If the pulmonologist performs simple spirometry which graphs the vital capacity and expiratory flow or if the flow volume loop (FVL) is not complete use 94010.

If an FVL is measured without bronchodilator administration, use 94375 (Respiratory flow volume loop). If the physician performs spirometry pre- and postbronchodilator administration, use 94060.

  3. WHEN BILLING '94060' CAN I ALSO BIL CODE '94200, 94640,94664'?
    WHAT CODE REPLACED 94665?
