EXAM: PELVIC ULTRASOUND
INDICATION: Post AB.
The uterus measures 8.3 x 3.8 x 5.4 cm. Endometrial lining is 3.6 mm.
Several small nabothian cysts can be seen. Small amount of free fluid in
the cul-de-sac is noted. Left ovary measures up to 3.5 cm, right ovary up
to 2.4 cm. Small follicles are noted bilaterally. There is a left
parovarian cyst measuring 1.8 cm. No definite intra- or extrauterine
gestational rings can be seen. Doppler color flow both ovaries suggested.
IMPRESSION: POST AB. NO DEFINITE RETAINED PRODUCTS OF CONCEPTION SEEN. SMALL
OVARIAN CYSTS ARE NOTED WITH A 1.8 CM LEFT PAROVARIAN CYST. MINIMAL FREE
FLUID IN THE CUL-DE-SAC CAN BE SEEN.
