I have a patient who is dysphagic due to OPD - Im not sure if this is the same as OPMD (oculopharyngeal Dystrophy) - and the closest code I have found is 359.1
Thoughts?

I feel this the same like OPMD. In that case, the Dx you have chosen is absolutely correct. If OPD is Oropharyngeal dystrophy, the code would be 787.22.

Playing it safe, I ran it back to the doctor's attention to confirm his dictation, and he did go with the OPMD because it is a dystrophic variety.
Thanks again Apoorba!
