In a single day, if you need to perform CPR multiple times during the SAM ENCOUNTER, you cannot code it multiple times. Within a single encounter, it (92950) can be coded only once. But if the CPR has been done on a particular patient, multiple times on a single day, but at different encounters (lets say, once in the morning, then again in afternoon and again at night), then you will be able to code it multiple times, once for each encounter.
Thanks for your guidance. Can you give me a reference for your answer? Thanks!
