  1. Am I reading this correctly to say that this cannot be billed together? The "CCI Edit Rule" at the bottom is what tells me you cant bill both.

    Code 43235 is a column 2 code for 91035, but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.

    Use modifier with code 43235.

    CCI edit Rule:
    Misuse of column two code with column one code

  2. CCI edit is correct for the codes 43235 and 91035. Here misuse of code means that these codes cannot be reported together for the Medicare program. But these edits allow use of NCCI-associated modifiers (modifier indicator of “1”), but there are limited circumstances when the column two code may be reported on the same date of service as the column one code, e.g 83721(59) and 80061.
