  1. PLEASE ADVISE ON HOW TO CODE WHEN A POLYP IS REMOVED WITH HOT BIOPSY FORCEPS (45384) AND A COLD BIOPSY OF THE COLON IS ALSO OBTAINED (43380).....SHOULD A 51 OR 59 MODIFIER BE ATTACHED TO EITHER CPT CODE?? THANK YOU!!

  2. Both these codes can be billed together, but you need to append a 59 modifier with CPT 45380. i.e
    45384, 45380-59
